8th Annual Community Art Exhibit
November 1 - December 14, 2024
The Village Gallery of Caledonia invites you to participate in our 8th Annual Community Art Exhibit. All mediums of hand-made arts and crafts are welcome for this exhibit. The gallery will donate 10% of the sales to the Caledonia Library Building Fund.
Fees: Maximum Two items per artist at an entry fee of $10 per item.
Eligibility: Artists must be 18 years or older. All work must be original and may not have been exhibited previously in our gallery. Work must have been completed during the past five (5) years and may not exceed 36” in any dimension. All work must be framed and ready to exhibit. All work must have hanging wire and be labeled on the back with Artist’s Name, Medium, Phone #, Title & Price. A separate Entry Information Form below must be completed and accompany the work at delivery.
Calendar:
Sunday, October 27, 2024 Deliver artwork to the gallery 11-4pm (or by appointment)
Friday, November 1, 2024 First Friday Reception 5-8pm
Friday, December 6, 2024 First Friday Reception 5-8pm
Saturday, December 14, 2024 Pickup unsold work at the gallery 4-5pm (or by appointment)
Sales & Awards: A commission of 30% of the sales price will be retained by the gallery.
A “Peoples’ Choice Award” of $100 will be awarded at the close of the exhibit.
Disclosure: Artwork is to be for sale and remain in the gallery for the duration of the show, unless sold. Insurance is the responsibility of the artist. The Village Gallery will assume no liability for loss, theft, or damage during any phase of this event. Artists participating agree to allow reproduction privileges of their art for education, or publicity purposes only.
